Search for living trust files on record

Our uncle died 7-20-08 and we found his 1994 living trust but want to locate a more current version, if there is one.

So far all the leads to attorneys and firms are 'dead ends' as the firms are no longer in existence!

Please tell us how to search for or locate whatever records there are for this living trust.
